Rotate PDF Pages Privately, in Your Browser
Fix orientation of scanned or sideways PDF pages without uploading a single byte. Free, no signup, no watermark, local processing.
How to Rotate PDF Pages
Scanned documents and photos sometimes end up sideways or upside-down in a PDF. Rather than re-scanning or opening heavy desktop software, GoPDFConverter lets you fix page orientation in seconds, directly in your browser, with no uploads, no installs, and no cost.
- Open the Rotate PDF tool and drop your file, or click Choose a PDF.
- Preview every page in the visual thumbnail grid. Pages that need rotation are easy to spot.
- Click the rotation button on any thumbnail to rotate that page 90 degrees clockwise. Click again for 180 or 270 degrees.
- Click Save Rotated PDF to download the corrected document.
Why Rotate PDFs in Your Browser
Rotation is usually a small fix, but it involves the whole document. Some services upload that PDF to a processing server. GoPDFConverter instead uses PDF-LIB in browser memory and does not send selected document bytes to GoPDFConverter for rotation. Normal website and analytics requests still occur.
Because rotation only updates the page orientation flag inside the PDF rather than recompressing content, the process is near-instant and preserves every detail of the original file. Text, images, fonts, and vector graphics all remain untouched, and the file size stays essentially the same.
Common Rotate PDF Use Cases
- Scanned documents: fix pages that came out sideways from a batch scan.
- Mobile scans: correct photos of documents taken at the wrong angle.
- Mixed orientation: standardize a document with some landscape and some portrait pages.
- Upside-down scans: flip pages that a flatbed scanner rendered the wrong way up.
- Form preparation: reorient handwritten forms before merging with other documents.
